It’s starting again. That whole baby-food-mess thing.

In some ways it’s fun — more so when the older girls are pretty excited about giving Delaney food. But on the other hand, it means I have to start thinking about baby foods when we’re going places, which either means smooshed bananas straddling my camera or little Tupperware tubs sweating onto the lens.

Spoon-feeding is just not as neat as breastfeeding but a lot less painful.

But the faces are always good. As is always the case, the camera missed the best expressions, but here’s what I was looking at tonight!

What a lovely helper!

I’ve also started putting some things out on Delaney’s tray for her to try picking up. My favourite cereal to offer is wholegrain Cheerios (which has only been in Australia for a couple of years, believe it or not!).

The older girls have been delighted to see Delaney start eating food.

Brioni tried to help Dell by collecting all the Cheerios and putting them in the tray's cup-hole. However, Dell could no longer pick them up when they were in there!
