David’s parents arrived today to meet Dell, stay a couple of days (we hope) and get to know the girls again as they’ve grown up heaps since the last visit in October. Rosie has been working south of Sydney as a minister for the local Uniting Church.

So Rosie flew up from Sydney to the Gold Coast, and Hugh (Woodoo) drove up from Grafton to meet her and bring her up to our house.

They arrived late in the afternoon and brought a dinner that Woodoo had prepared earlier at home. It was a marvellous beef and bean stew, and David has instructed me to ask Woodoo for all the details so I can get the recipe. (Woodoo has a real knack with cooking food that tastes exceptional.)

Namma brought a book as a present for the girls, and they insisted that she read it right away.

Today was the first time that Rosie met Delaney.

Woodoo acts like he's lost the touch with babies (after raising four of his own), but I don't think that's the case.

The girls are delighted to have Namma visit them.
