Train, March 2010

We visited a dear friend with boys today, and it’s interesting how the boy-oriented toys have started to interest the older girls. When they were younger, my girls just wanted to play with the dolls or the people attached to any of the building blocks.

On this visit, however, Brioni and Aisha disappeared into the playroom to set up the train track (although I suspect there was a Mummy train or a Daddy train riding along). This change demonstrates a maturity in their playing.

Calista hasn’t grown into this shift, though. She found a baby doll and spent her time nursing it. It’ll be a while before she catches up to her older sisters.
