The girls have been spending time each day riding down in the shed. Today, as David took a turn on the girls’ gyrocars, he noticed Calista standing off to the side, asking, “Where’s mine?”
We originally bought a number of gyrocars to sell at the markets a year ago, and we did sell half our stock, but we’ve been storing the left-over boxes of gyrocars in the shed ever since. The numbers have been slowly dwindling through occasional purchases by friends whose children have enjoyed riding on ours.
So David was able to open up a box with a new gyrocar in it and start riding with all three girls. At the rate at which we produce offspring, we’ll soon have more children than gyrocars! (This is an exaggeration and absolutely no indication of how many kids we’ll have.)
To get the best ride, our kids have worked out that if they start at the far side of the house out the front, they can swoop along the front driveway and down the side all the way into the shed. There’s a slope just before the shed, so you can pick up quite a bit of speed and occasionally a ride ends with a crash.

Love the photos Lauren, particularly the ones of the awesome foursome. Looks like fun! And can’t believe Calista isn’t even two and is that in control. I couldn’t see Harry having that much control (he’ll be 2 this month).
