We decided that we wanted several pointer signs to direct people to our house, and David came up with a novel way of making multiple signs with a minimum of effort.

David used the jigsaw to (patiently) cut out a stencil so it was easy to spray paint signs advertising our house.

Lift off the stencil, and voila!

Yesterday and today, David has been driving around, strategically placing the home-made signs advertising our house. He has been choosing to place the boards at intersections and along other major road arteries close to our neighbourhood.

We've now got twenty of these signs peppered around our area.

We know that these are effective because our first visitor came from someone who saw a sign and called his wife to check our website. I only had twenty minutes’ notice, but it was enough time to get the girls dressed and tidy up the playroom.
