Special story-time

After my lament that I had hardly read the girls any books lately, I decided to make up for it with an outing to the local library for their monthly Bedtime Story-time session tonight. (We did this once before.)
The girls were delighted to sit and listen to the books, although I was reminded that Calista finds sitting still quite hard. However, there was only a small crowd, so her kangaroo impressions as she jumped from cushion to cushion didn’t cause any conflict.
I was surprised at Aisha and Brioni's participation in the activity. They happily talked to the librarian and responded to her questions throughout the stories.
The special story-time ended with (chocolate!) milk and a plain biscuit.
