Good Friday was a great day! David and I awoke refreshed after our mad rush around the day before and still high from the fantastic PC3 concert.

A close examination of the festival program showed that we weren’t really interested in anything happening until late afternoon, so we took the morning to explore Toowoomba. Famous for its gardens and parks, the trees were especially magnificent.

We parked the truck at the top of Mount Lofty, next to the local TV station and wandered around the park.

The sky here is just so blue!

We returned to Easterfest after lunch just in time to catch some side shows before heading to the main stage for Rebecca St James and Audio Adrenaline.

Rebecca St James performed a set that included "Alive", "Thank you" and "Blessed be".

One thing about Rebecca's concerts is that she always ends by leading the crowd in singing a worship song to God. The crowd keeps singing as she exits the stage in a very low-key fashion.

Rebecca's brothers Luke (left) and Joel performed with her on stage and later had their own [lack lustre] concert, wooing the swooning tweeny-teen girls.

Mark Stuart and the rest of Audio Adrenaline re-formed just for Easterfest 2009. Their concert rocked the city!

We also stopped by the heavy-grunge/metal tent to cheer Josiah and his band Father Abraham. Josiah goes to our church, and even plays the bass guitar there too, but in a much more moderate style.

We spent a lot of time in the main tent, sitting around the tables, drinking chai lattés and chatting with new and old friends.
