After we washed off the body paint last night, we noticed that Brioni was seriously covered in red welts, which she complained were itchy. (If you look closely at the picture of her in the previous blog entry, you can see the welts across her torso.)

I took her to a late-night medical clinic, where I was given an antihistimine to bring down the swellings. She was breathing okay and didn’t seem very distressed, so the reaction was classed as mild.

This morning she was still showing welts, and they had also crept to her extremities, appearing on her face and hands. I took Bri to our regular GP, who didn’t think it was a big concern.

We’re not sure exactly what caused the reaction… perhaps it was the strawberries she ate at playgroup.

Later today, David arrived home early, and we spent some time driving around, looking at houses for finishing styles and colour combinations before also looking around a nursery.

David wanted to remember the heights of these trees, so he asked me to stand in front of one. When I'm out and about, I often carry Calista in the sling, leaving both hands free.
