Writing her own name

After our lesson today, Aisha practiced writing her own name, first tracing over my writing, and then copying the letters. (She appears to be right-handed.)
Aisha’s reading lessons are going well, and she is eager to spend some time doing them each day. It’s an easy introduction to formal bookwork, and although we don’t do a lesson every day, we seem to be averaging about four or five a week, which is on track for reading properly before Aisha turns four years old in February.
