One of the good things about playgroup is that you expose your children to activities that would never normally happen at home.

This morning, we took the kids outside and let them loose with several colours of paint and a large sheet. The children were offered a pile of paintbrushes and stamps, but it didn’t take long for them to just start using their own feet and hands.

It was easier to just strip the kids at the beginning so we wouldn't worry about their clothes getting messy. (Somehow we overlooked the fact that the paint would end up on *our* clothes as well!)

My girls participated, using paint brushes and stamps, but they weren't as keen as the other children on painting themselves (though I did try to encourage it).

The final artwork will be our drop sheet for crafts and morning tea.

The clean-up was as much fun as the painting!
