In the lead-up to our departure from Tassie, we’ve been circling back to visit some of the people we met while here. It’s wonderful to make the time to reinforce those connections, knowing that we hope to return and continue the friendship.

This week, the girls loved playing at Niya’s place. We parked alongside Jesse and Rose’s bus and let the girls explore the area together. It was a good time of gathering with other members of the Rainbow Family, and we made beautiful music together in the Rainbow Tipi.

Calista Mae, 4yo, February 2013
Calista likes to play on the trapeze swing that has been hung up at Niya's place.

Calista loves to experiment with climbing up high and hanging upside-down on this swing.

We also took the time to return to Yvonne’s house where the girls continue to enjoy her attention and playing with the interesting things they find in her house. Yvonne doesn’t have children’s toys lying around, so the girls improvise with what they find.

Using Yvonne's catering accessories, Aisha opens her own restaurant in Yvonne's office.

We all take turns coming in to order from the menu, including Yvonne's latest student boarder Ananye who arrived yesterday from Japan.

It’s wonderful to say to these friends “See you later” instead of “Good bye”. As soon as we drive away, I look forward to coming back to see them later in the year!
