This gorgeous haven is just what the doctor(s) ordered. My sister and her husband, both doctors in a busy local practice, have completed the master bedroom, ensuite and walk-in-robe in their grand home-renovation plans.
Have a look at this!
Looking through the neutral front room, a splash of colour catches my eye.
The bedroom is dominated by a light fitting by Australian designer Marc Pascal.
The Croakers chose the specific colours they wanted to appear in Pascal's "Eyoi Yoi" lighting pendant.
The painting on the wall mirrors the colour scheme without offering a distraction.
Carefully chosen accessories decorate the furniture.
A generous mirror above the dresser reflects the room's tranquility.
But the mirror is not what it seems — it hides a large, flat-panel television!
A doorway leads to the walk-in-robe and ensuite bathroom that are fit out in the same dark timber.
The bathroom features large floor-to-ceiling tiles and a double shower against one wall.
Although it provides the feeling of rain, the main showerhead is rated as a water-saving device.
Two shower heads mean a couple can easily shower at the same time without having to share their water!
Before we go, Calista and I take one last look around the gorgeous bedroom.
Last year when we visited the Croakers at home, I marvelled at Elora’s aqua bedroom. Now that I’ve seen how exquisitely Carla and Andy have completed their room, I can’t wait to see how the rest of the house will turn out!
