We needed to do some business at the Apple store in Bondi Junction and discovered they offer a great babysitting service — iPads at child-height, pre-programmed with children’s games. Our girls didn’t mind the length of time we were in the store, and we could only lure them away with talk of food!

The girls very quickly learned how to navigate through the different games available on their iPads.

I like the high ceilings in the Apple store. It gives the premises a feeling of airiness and space. It’s a nice place to hang out, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Our outing to the Apple store was so much fun, that it may be worth a visit in the future — purely for the playing. Aisha is now asking for an iPad, but we’re planning on stalling for a couple more years to see how the technology evolves!

David’s now wearing an iPhone on his belt. We’re still learning how to use it and which apps to download. If you have any suggestions, please let us know!
