After several days of light rain, the water level in Glendon Creek has risen. Although it’s not flooding, the water has turned a murky brown from the run-off and many rocks are now underwater, making it an ideal height for riding down on our boogie boards.

There’s one particular stretch that is an especially good, safe ride. It starts in a gentle pool and ends in another one, providing a good place to clamber out of the water to walk upstream and do it all again. David took the girls there to see if they would like to ride with him.

As our children grow older, it’s satisfying to see them take up the interests that we thrill to. We can look forward to many more years of playing with our girls as their abilities improve.
