The big chop
17 July 10
We have one callistemon tree very close to the house, that — although it provides lovely shade in summer — drops piles and piles of leaves onto our roof. (And it’s also the one that has previously been a home to a tree snake.) Today David lopped the tops off its branches.
We’re certain that the tree will grow back — fuller and bushier than it was before — and hopefully not quite so close to the house! It will just take time — perhaps one year — before it looks good again.
